CLASSICAL PHOTOGRAPHY by Jess Isaiah Levin, Raleigh, NC

Welcome to Classical Photography

Weddings, portraits, seniors, corporate events, fine art prints.

If you would like to learn a bit about me:

I am a sole proprietor, with many years of experience in a wide range of photographic styles and areas.  I work with an assistant when needed, and have the backing of a large network of professional photographers in the Photographic Society of the Triangle and the Professional Photographers of North Carolina

I am here to provide you with quality and artistry.  Quick turnaround times are often possible for special needs.  When you have ordered a wall portrait or a wedding album, please allow time for me to create a perfect keepsake for you.

My life has been, and continues to be, devoted to more than one art form. I am the son of a world-class violinist - my father, and a fine painter - my mother. My siblings are also artists. My sister Eva Hill, a professional artist as well as a teacher, has been a constant source of knowledge, critique, and inspiration. I have maintained a long and solid career as a professional symphony violinist, and continue to compose new music. My works for orchestra and for various smaller ensembles have been performed across the USA.

What I hope you will understand is that I do not treat any of these endeavors half heartedly. I have been honing the craft and the art of photography since my teens, and when you entrust a photographic assignment to me, whether it is a once-in-a-lifetime event or a portrait that you want to be perfect, you will receive all of my attention, skill, and care. I have always felt that the kind of sensibility and perfectionism that is required to master one form of art carries over to others. There can be a wonderful synergy growing out of a multifaceted life in the arts. I thoroughly enjoy it, and encourage you to make use of the special approach that I offer.
